The feeling you get as you arrive at the Manuelito Children’s Home in Honduras is overwhelming. You will be greeted by shrieks of joy and lots of hugs from children not used to affection but have learned how to enjoy being children again. The majority of children at the Manuelito home have come from the streets and a few have come through the courts where they have been removed from abusive situations.

It has not been an easy ride for them but Maribel, Rita and Maricela are fine examples of how possible change can be if someone reaches out and seeks to make a difference.
