RC 12

• In January 2012 the FM transmission licenses will be applied for and the the website will begin taking offers for presenting shows.
• In August 2012 we will begin to pre-record shows like the Pod-Castaway and begin to plan the advertising for December. It is out hope to have the studio built by the end of October 2012 so that people can do pre-record parts of shows like promos and practise using the equipment.
• During November 2012 we will move into the extension again and turn that into the office as before ready for the 1st December live launch!

Radio Christmas 2011

RC 11

• We will start the online streaming in February 2011, which will also transmit on the Apple app. We plan to keep this running through until the end of October and then add lots more information (adverts) and about the charity and also highlights of Radio Christmas 2010.
• Volunteers through 2011 will help select highlights of 'RC 10' and record a highlights show before December. This highlights show will be looped and can then be played online throughout November and December for those who wish to listen to Radio Christmas this December.

RC 10

Radio Christmas 2010 was an amazing year, progressing from and learning from the mistakes in 2008 we had two studios and a larger office space for the administration to run smoothly without people being distracted.

Stats for 2010, as of January 2011:

• Raised £20,058, $10,00 went to directly to Guatemala to support the projects there, $10,000 to AFE Honduras and $10,00 to the Manuelito Children's Home in Honduras
• Tests supplied £268
• 250+ volunteers took part and this included 160 presenters
• Nearly 6000 emails, texts and messages via the website came in during December
• The streaming part of the website saw our daily average hits of 41, 713 in November and 20,551 in December. Overall our total hits on the streaming page on Radio Christmas was just under 1.9 million.
• 13,000 downloads of the Apple app in the first two weeks before we went live
• 42,000 downloads of the Apple app so far
